July’s BIG Adventure: Vermont & New York

Vermont / New York trip unedited

Day 1
First we headed to the Ben and Jerry’s Factory to check out the grounds

and go on a tour (where we saw them make the chocolate brownie flavor).

Then we had a few delicious scoops each

And checked out the Flavor Graveyard to see the ‘dearly de-pinted’ flavors no longer being made.

After Ben and Jerry’s, we drove through Smuggler’s Notch State Park, a scenic mountain pass famous for it’s windy, tree enclosed roads

and massive, tumbled boulders that have fallen from the towering stone walls of the Green Mountains.

The road is build to curve all around them, creating a very unique, geologically interesting drive!!  We stopped at one point and I walked around amongst them. That’s when you really get a feel for how immense these rocks are!
