March 2026 Happenings

March FLEW by! Truly! Here’s a bit of what happened:

We celebrated Mom’s 81st birthday at La Costa:

I reorganized the shed
Wine’d Up is now in tidy white boxes and now I don’t mind working in there. Just a better vibe for bringing my plant babies into this world, lol.

Poria and Madison helped a TON
We had stuff to do around the house and two kind souls came to help!  Madison changed tires, helped fix the broken patio cover and did little tasks here and there.  And Poria POLLARDED the catalpas. Such a huge job! That made me sooooo happy. I no like that job.  Not.at.all!

We ate well, such as these delicious dishes:

And side note…Mom, Cindy and I went to a No Kings (anti-Trump rally.)  I wasn’t sure I’d like it, but turns out it was VERY comforting to see how many people realize that what is going on in this country IS NOT OKAY!!!

Afterwards we went out to lunch at a VERY good Native American restaurant:

And ran across this adorable little “Mini Gallery” built between two buildings in downtown Provo. People are so clever.

And that’s all the pictures I have to show for March.

Other stuff happened too tho. Jac’s job changed (in a good way, and included a raise). I had loads of co-worker and boss drama at work, and some really great AND really crummy teaching days.  The spring garden was started outside (including nearly 300 onions in our big onion grow box!). The summer plants were started in the shed. The yard got a good clean-up. And the winter decorations finally were returned to the basement.

And through it all, Oliver pretty much just relaxed and had everything in life handed to him.  Ahh, cats.
